Yes, sounds like a good blog post. Basically, that difference is due to three things - (1) the effort involved in researching 15-20 companies when launching a fund compared to doing ongoing research that turns up just a few new ideas per year afterwards; (2) paring down the sources that didn&#039;t add much value; and/or (3) finding cheaper and/or free alternatives.  I basically cast as wide a net as possible for ideas pre-launch, including some services I&#039;d heard of but had not until then subscribed to.  Now, though, I&#039;ve more or less gone back to the old standbys.  Will address this more in another post.  Thanks.
